Lachlan started working sheep at four months old - his idea, not ours. When the ewes are feeling protective of their young and don't want to move, he's the dog we depend on to get them going. He can usually be found lying at my feet while I'm on the computer or sorting through the toy box until he finds a bone to hide. We are constantly finding his valuables in the laundry basket, under the sofa cushions and occasionally in the closet. Lachlan was the chore dog, sorting sheep for lessons and putting them out to pasture.
